natalie purschwitz

happy sunday! i was getting quite frustrated with math, so i decided to do something much more interesting. have you ever heard of natalie purschwitz? she's seriously one of the most creative people i have ever heard of. she actually went for one entire year only wearing clothes that she made. (that's everything: skirts, shirts, pants, underwear, bathing suits, shoes, hats, everything)

check out these shoes!

i wish i could make those! maybe i'll look into that... ;) and maybe hats as well... hmmmm.. this could fit into what i have in mind!

 i would totally wear this...

 and this...

sparkly pants!

and you'd think that having to make your clothes everyday would show... like some of them would be a bit "meh" looking... but no! every single one of her outfits from this year long endeavour succeed in retaining interest. man, that's amazing... don't you think? someday i hope to have that broad of an imagination.

i don't know about you, but i feel so inspired by this project natalie did. i can feel it influencing the project i am working out in my head... ;)

now is the start.

hello. this is me, posting on this blog awkwardly for the first time. just as a friendly (or maybe unfriendly..) warning, you will quickly be able to see how unexperienced i am at this here blogging concept. but whatevs. if it's too painful for your experienced blogger eyes, then leave!

so here's the lowdown. i love fashion. i have for as long as i can remember. and now i've gotten a fantastic opportunity within my school to explore and expand my love of it. design, photography, sewing... it's all going to be incorporated into a large 2 year long project, and i am beyond ecstatic to start.

this blog is my way of sharing my journey with the world. well any part of the world that can actually stand my annoying rambly-ness.

so, now is the start. welcome to the beginning of this chapter of my life.

end of ramble.
